• Elizabeth McCabe was named managing director of Cook Associates (Chicago). McCabe has joined the firm's NYC office and will lead the Life Sciences Practice. Previously, McCabe served as the recruiting partner for Essex Woodlands Health Ventures. Cook Associates has conducted C-level, general management searches as well as recruited Vice President-level executives in Research & Development, Business Development, and Sales & Marketing functions for early stage as well as established pharmaceutical, biotech, medical technology companies and venture capital firms in the U.S. and Europe.

• Greencastle Consulting (Malvern, Pennsylvania) said that Denise Hammel-Jones, RN, a clinical management consultant for the firm, has been named to the board of directors for the HIMSS Delaware Valley Chapter. A board certified informatics nurse, Hammel-Jones works as part of a collaborative team at Greencastle that plans, coordinates and manages the successful completion of high complexity, clinical technology projects for acute and ambulatory health providers.

• Zeus (Orangeburg, South Carolina) has named David Labelle as its new business development manager and Derek Ramsey as European sales supervisor. Labelle previously was co-founder and sales and business-development manager for a high-tech start-up company. Ramsey has a history in sales within the retail and FMCG sectors and previously worked as a key account executive maintaining existing business and developing revenue streams. Zeus makes polymer tubing used in medical applications.
