Mojgan Lefebvre has been named chief information officer at bioMérieux (Marcy L’etoile, France). Lefebvre will take leadership both for management of information systems and R&D information technologies. Previously, Lefebvre was international chief information officer for TeleTech Holdings. bioMérieux specializes in in vitro diagnostics for clinical and industrial applications.

Jean Pierre Tirouflet has been named CEO of BioSystems International (Evry, France). Previously, Tirouflet was CEO and chairman of the French specialty chemicals company Rhodia. BioSystems International is a biotech company developing monoclonal antibody mediated biomarkers and diagnostics.

Jamshid Maddahi, MD, has been named medical advisor for Digirad (Poway, California). Maddahi has served as director of the Biomedical Imaging Institute in Los Angeles. He has been a clinical professor of medicine (cardiology) and clinical professor of molecular and medical pharmacology (nuclear medicine) at the University of California Los Angeles since 1992 and 2004, respectively. Digirad makes digital gamma cameras.

Thomas Feldman has joined Point Biomedical (San Carlos, California) as president/CEO, and member of the board of directors. Feldman formerly was president/CBO at Cotherix. Point is developing technology platforms for imaging applications.
