• Mike Norris has been named vice president of corporate development for CardioVascular BioTherapeutics (CVBT; Las Vegas, Nevada). Norris previously was vice president of strategy, enablement and measurement at Digitas, a marketing services organization. CVBT is developing drug candidates with Cardio Vascu-Grow as the active ingredient for a number of diseases characterized by inadequate blood flow to a tissue or organ.

• Jim Berarducci has been named president of the Health Care Division of Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA; San Francisco). Berarducci previously held the title of managing director. KSA said that in addition to his management responsibilities, Berarducci has created client relationships with healthcare organizations such as the Mayo Clinic, Alegent Health, and Henry Ford Health System. KSA is a consulting firm focused exclusively on the healthcare, retail and consumer products industries.
