Les Taeger was appointed senior vice president and CFO of OrthoLogic (Tempe, Arizona). Taeger joins OrthoLogic from Cardiotech International and its predecessor, Gish Biomedical, where he was CFO for the last five years. Taeger will replace Sherry Sturman, who will remain a consultant to the company. OrthoLogic is focused on the development of the novel synthetic peptide Chrysalin (TP508) in three lead indications: fracture repair, diabetic foot ulcer healing and cartilage defect repair.

Chad Souvignier, PhD, has been promoted from associate to director at Research Corporation Technologies (RCT; Tucson, Arizona). Before joining RCT, Souvignier was manager of international marketing in the commercial operations department at Guilford Pharmaceuticals, now MGI Pharma. RCT is a technology investment and management company that provides early/seed-stage funding and development for promising biomedical companies and technologies originating in the world's universities and research institutions.

Timothy Chapman has joined Steris (Mentor, Ohio) as senior vice president, business strategy, filling a newly created position. Chapman, who has served Steris in a consulting role for several years, joins the company from a 20-year career with McKinsey & Co., most recently as a director. Streris is a provider of infection prevention, decontamination and health science technologies, products and services.
