An article in Tuesday's BioWorld ("Gauging the Real Cost ofBiotechnology Drugs") reported that erythropoietin (EPO) addsmore than $2 billion to U.S. health-care costs. In fact, it addsonly about $500 million. The cost of dialysis is $2 billion.
