Ohio Issue 2, the Drug Price Standards Initiative, was defeated by voters in the state Tuesday. On the Nov. 7 ballot as an indirect initiated state statute, it would have required the state and state agencies, including the Ohio Department of Medicaid, to pay the same or lower prices for prescription drugs as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
