Collagen Corp. said Tuesday that it has agreed to make labelingchanges that should allow the Palo Alto, Calif., company toresume domestic shipments of newly produced Zyderm andZyplast collagen implants and related skin tests on Aug. 26.International shipments of bulk unlabeled material resumed onTuesday.
The Food and Drug Administration seized Collagen's productinventory last Friday after a labeling error resulted in theomission of a line of text from the product literature.
Collagen is seeking FDA consent to repackage and ship theseized inventory, said Howard D. Palefsky, Collagen's presidentand chief executive officer.
Collagen stock (NASDAQ:CGEN) closed at $19.25, down 50cents, on Tuesday.
