Inverness Medical Innovations (Waltham, Massachusetts) continues an acquisition spree that started several years ago, now reporting its fourth major deal since the start of the new year. It has entered into a binding agreement with Kroll (Gretna, Louisiana), a subsidiary of Marsh and McLennan (New York), to purchase its Substance Abuse Testing division called Kroll Laboratory Specialists for $110 million in cash.
