PLC Medical Systems (Franklin, Massachusetts) reported that the initial abstract results from a clinical study evaluating the effectiveness of its RenalGuard System have been published. The company said that the investigator-sponsored clinical study has also been published on the European Society of Cardiology (Sophia Antipolis, France) web site in advance of that society's annual meeting Aug. 29 Sept. 2, 2009 in Barcelona, Spain.
