Sensome SAS reported a partnership with Asahi Intecc Co. Ltd. to develop the next generation Clotild smart guidewire. Asahi Intecc is taking on the manufacturing role for Sensome’s smart guidewire designed for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke.

French consortium Booster is developing a personalized emergency treatment of ischemic stroke in its work on brain clot personalized therapeutic strategies for stroke emergent reperfusion. The aim is to refine the patient prognosis based on blood clot clinical and radiological characteristics and propose more effective drug treatments with a new generation of intracranial stents.

PARIS – Sensome SAS, of Palaiseau, France, has closed a second funding round, of $9 million, with its original French investors (Kurma Partners SA, Invest Partners SA, BNP Paribas Développement SA and the Paris-Saclay Seed Fund), now joined by the Japanese-based Asahi Intecc Co. Ltd.
