"This agreement represents an important milestone for Maquet Cardiovascular as it is our first GPO contract for cardiopulmonary products in the United States and underscores the value of our products to surgeons and perfusionists," said Raoul Quintero, president of Maquet Cardiovascular U.S. sales. "We are committed to supporting positive patient outcomes and are pleased that members will now have access to our full range of innovative perfusion products, as well as our surgical devices for beating heart cardiac surgery and our market-leading Vasoview Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting (EVH) Systems through two contracts we signed with Novation previously."

We found that Maquet Cardiovascular's cardiopulmonary product portfolio met the requirements of our rigorous contracting review process," said Scott Crandall, Senior Director, Contract Services Cardiology at Novation.
