• DR Systems (San Diego) reported the hiring of Ryan Yamatani, as VP of sales & marketing and John Conklin as director of cardiology programs. Yamatani previously was a senior healthcare leader at EMC, while Conklin has had a 12-year career in cardiology solutions with Camtronics Medical Systems and subsequently, Emageon, which acquired Camtronics in 2005. DR Systems is a provider of enterprise imaging and information management systems for hospitals, integrated healthcare networks and diagnostic imaging centers.

• iMedicor (Nanuet, New York), developer of a HIPAA-compliant solution for interoperable medical information transfer, reported that Michael Lorelli has joined its board of directors. Lorelli is CEO of New Jersey-based Water-Jel Technologies. Prior to working as a private equity consultant, he spent 20 years in various leadership roles at Fortune 100 companies, including PepsiCo, Esmark, and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

• McKesson (San Francisco) said Patrick Blake was promoted to executive VP and group president, McKesson Technology Solutions. Most recently, Blake was president of McKesson Specialty Care Solutions. McKesson is a healthcare services and technology company.

Kevin Piltz has been named CIO of MedQuist (Mount Laurel, New Jersey) Piltz has more than 29 years of experience, having held various senior-level technology/IT leadership positions across a variety of different industries. He most recently was CIO for Geller and Co., a provider of accounting and financial services. MedQuist is a provider of medical transcription services, and a developer of clinical documentation workflow solutions.

Jason Gorevic was named CEO of TelaDoc Medical Services (Dallas). Most recently, Gorevic was a senior VP at WellPoint. TelaDoc is a network of primary care physicians, providing cross-coverage services on demand.
