Cyted Health Ltd. raised $44 million in a series B financing round to expand the reach of Endosign, its capsule sponge technology, in the U.S. Endosign is a minimally invasive device used to collect cell samples from the esophagus for the early detection of esophageal diseases, offering the potential to transform early cancer detection and improve health outcomes.

French venture capital firm Karista led a series B extension financing round for Samantree Medical SA to take the total raised in the round to $20 million. The funds will be used to launch Samantree’s Histolog scanner in the U.S. market.

Neuromod Devices Ltd. raised €10 million (US$10.9 million) in financing to expand the reach of Lenire, which treats tinnitus. The fundraise, which was an expansion of its series B financing round, was led by existing investors Fountain Healthcare Partners and Panakès Partners.

Germitec SA raised $30 million in a series B financing round to bring Chronos, its chemical-free, ultraviolet-C (UV-C)-based disinfection system for ultrasound probes, to the U.S. market.

Nobi BV secured €35 million (US$37 million) in an oversubscribed series B financing round to develop its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered smartlights which can detect falls in the elderly.
