"We're actually on the threshold of doing something," Rep. Peter Welch (D-Vt.) said Wednesday as the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health took up seven bills aimed at increasing generic and biosimilar competition in the U.S. in a bid to reduce prescription drug prices.
