Biopharma financings from January through October 2025 totaled $61.45 billion, roughly in line with the $61.04 billion raised during the same period in 2023 but down sharply from last year’s $93.83 billion.

Billiontoone Inc. saw its shares surge well beyond the already upsized $60 IPO price, opening at $100 each, giving the molecular diagnostics company a market value of $4.4 billion based on the outstanding shares listed in its filings.

Medline Inc. filed a public S1 with the SEC Oct. 28, moving the IPO first signaled in December 2024 closer to reality. The Northfield, Ill.-based medical supply distributor did not disclose the number of shares to be offered or their price, but Renaissance Capital expects the IPO to raise about $5 billion, which would make it the largest in any industry this year and one of the largest ever in med tech. CF Pharmtech Inc. raised HK$607.67 million (US$78.12 million) through the sale of 41.19 million H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) Oct. 8. The proceeds will be used to advance the Suzhou, China-based drug developer’s portfolio of inhalation candidates for respiratory diseases.
