The FDA issued a revision of its 2009 draft guidance on formal meetings between the agency and sponsors on the development and review of new drugs and biologics. The new draft, published in Wednesday's Federal Register, discusses good meeting management practices and describes standardized procedures for requesting, preparing for, scheduling, conducting and documenting formal meetings.
