Helix Biopharma Corp., of Richmond Hill, Ontario, said it closed a second tranche of a private placement financing for gross proceeds of CA$510,000 (US$379,996). The company is working on completing another private placement tranche by May 17. Helix intends to use the net proceeds for working capital and research and development activities.
