Contrafect Corp., of Yonkers, N.Y., said it priced its underwritten public offering of 5 million shares of its common stock at $2 per share for gross proceeds of $10 million. The company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of its common stock at the public offering price.
