Three new members have been appointed to the National Institutes of Health (NIH; Bethesda, Maryland) Advisory Committee on Research on Women's Health.

The new members are Linda Giudice, MD, PhD, who is the Robert B. Jaffe, MD, endowed professor and chair of the department of OB/GYN and reproductive sciences at the University of California, San Francisco; Nancy Nielsen, MD, PhD, who is senior associate dean, State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and also the president-elect of the American Medical Association; and Debra Toney, PhD, RN, who is president of the National Black Nurses Association and administrator of Rainbow Medical Centers in Las Vegas.
