• Analogic (Peabody, Massachusetts) said that Edward Voboril has succeeded founder Bernard Gordon as chairman. Gordon, who chaired his final annual shareholders meeting of on Jan. 28, was chairman from 1969-2004 and 2006-2007. Voboril has been an Analogic director since 1990, and serves on the audit, nominating and corporate governance committees. Analogic makes health and security systems and subsystems sold primarily to original equipment manufacturers.

Andrew Carter, PhD, was named chief technology officer of Anika Therapeutics (Woburn, Massachusetts). Carter most recently was VP and GM at Spine Wave. Anika Therapeutics makes therapeutic products for tissue protection, healing and repair.

• DuPont (Wilmington, Delaware) has named Linda West as VP and GM of DuPont Imaging Technologies, and Donna Grier as VP-general auditor and chief ethics and compliance officer. West is currently VP-general auditor and chief ethics and compliance officer, while Grier is currently finance director of the DuPont Safety & Protection business segment. DuPont is a science-based products and services company.

• JMP Group (San Francisco) said that Mimi Pham has joined JMP Securities, JMP Group’s broker-dealer subsidiary, as a director and senior research analyst covering the medical device industry. Prior to joining JMP Securities, Pham was a VP and senior research analyst at HSBC Securities. JMP Group is an investment banking and asset management firm.

• Milestone Scientific (Livingston, New Jersey) said that Joseph D’Agostino, CPA, was named the company’s new acting CFO, replacing former acting CFO Arthur Goldberg. D’Agostino will serve in this role for a period of about six months, and then he will assume the title of CFO thereafter. Immediately prior to joining Milestone, D’Agostino was senior VP and treasurer of Summit Global Logistics. Milestone Scientific specializes in injection technologies.

• TissueLink Medical (Dover, New Hampshire) named David Brown as VP of U.S. sales and marketing and Mark Roby, PhD, as VP of R&D. Brown previously was VP of strategic sales for the orthopedic reconstruction division of Smith & Nephew. Roby was COO of Promethean Surgical Devices. TissueLink Medical makes surgical devices based on its Transcollation technology.
