Charles Dean Connor has been named COO of the American Lung Association (Washington). Connor joins the American Lung Association as executive VP and will assume the role of COO on April 1 upon the retirement of Joseph Bergen, who has held the position since 1998. Connor joins the American Lung Association from the American Red Cross, where he was Senior VP for Communication and Marketing. the American Lung Association works to prevent lung disease and promote lung health.

Kim Jaudon has been named to the medical support services division at Health Management Systems (HMS; New York). Prior to joining HMS, Jaudon held various positions at Policy Studies. HMS specializes in cost containment and program integrity services for government healthcare programs.

Wayne McAlister was named president/CEO of LifeCare Holdings (Plano, Texas). McAlister comes to LifeCare from Triad Hospitals. LifeCare operates 19 long-term acute care hospitals in nine states.

Charles Trego has been named executive VP and COO, effective March 3, of Minrad International (Orchard Park, New York). Trego is joining Minrad from Hardinge. Minrad International is an interventional pain management company developing real-time image guidance and product lines for anesthesia and analgesia.
