Amerinet forms NE Alliance
Amerinet (St. Louis), a national healthcare group purchasing organization, reported the formation of the Amerinet Northeast Alliance, designed to reduce members’ supply costs by optimizing purchasing volume. The combined spend of the new alliance members exceeds $220 million annually.
“The formation of the alliance is a cost-savings strategy to take advantage of the benefits of volume purchasing through members’ aggregate purchases,” said board member Bernie Delello. “The Amerinet Northeast Alliance is dedicated to improving the health and well being of the patients we serve by creating an environment of continuous process improvement, teamwork, integrity, and fiscal responsibility.”
Diagnostic Health moves home office
Diagnostic Health (Birmingham, Alabama) said that it has leased about 13,000 square feet and moved its home office operations to 22 Inverness Center Parkway in Birmingham. DHC is a diagnostic imaging company created by HealthSouth's sale of its diagnostic division to The Gores Group in July. While most of DHC's 1,000 employees work in its network of more than 50 diagnostic centers across the country, DHC employs about 50 people in its Birmingham-based home office.
Ivivi to list on Nasdaq Capital Market
Ivivi Technologies (Northvale, New Jersey) said that it has received approval for the listing of its common stock on the Nasdaq Capital Market and intends to withdraw its common stock from listing on the AMEX. Ivivi anticipates that trading of its common stock on the Nasdaq Capital Market will begin on Jan. 2 under the symbol IVVI. Ivivi also expects that the trading of its common stock on the AMEX will cease at the close of business on Dec. 31. Ivivi Technologies makes non-invasive electrotherapeutic technologies.
