• Khatereh Calleja has been named associate VP of technology and regulatory affairs for AdvaMed (Washington), the medical technology association. AdvaMed said that Calleja will play a lead role in the association’s policy efforts in the diagnostics sector.
• Joy Roop has been named director of marketing and product specialist for Paradigm Medical Industries (Salt Lake City, Utah). Paradigm said that Roop will be involved in the redesign of the company’s products and the development of marketing strategies for existing and new products. Roop spent five years as a marketing executive at the PGA Tour. Paradigm develops ultrasound devices and glaucoma detection and management products.
