  • James Mackaness was named CFO of Iridex (Mountain View, California), effective Jan. 2, 2008. Mackaness currently is CFO and VP of finance for NextHop Technologies. Iridex makes therapeutic based laser systems.
  • CSMG Technologies (Corpus Christi, Texas) reported that Bruce Thompson will join its live tissue connect technology subsidiary as a consultant to organize LTC's internal financial and operating programs. Thompson currently operates a consulting firm. GSMG is a technology management company.
  • Alexander Kotsinas was named CFO of Q-Med (Stockholm, Sweden). Kotsinas' most recent position was CFO at Life Europe. Q-Med makes medical implants.
