This follows the resignation of Aspyra CEO, Steven Besbeck, effective Nov. 30. Aspyra makes clinical and diagnostic information solutions for the healthcare industry.
  • Suber Huang, MD, was named medical director for ophthalmology of Digital Healthcare (Wake Forest, North Carolina). Huang will provide the company expert advice and counsel regarding product development. Huang is a professor and vice chairman in the department of ophthalmology and visual sciences at University Hospitals Case Medical Center (Cleveland). Digital Healthcare specializes in retinal risk assessment for diabetes.
  • Leo Gomez was named director of research for Biomoda (Albuquerque, NM). Most recently, Gomez was director of research for TCI Medical. Biomoda's technology, a non-invasive cytology based assay, is designed for cancer screening.
  • Scott Yarde has been named VP of sales and business development for Dilon Technologies (Newport News, Virginia). Most recently, Yarde was VP of sales and marketing with Fischer Imaging. Dilon manufactures high-resolution molecular imaging systems.
