• David Voris was named VP of finance and administration and CFO of Cyntellect (San Diego, California). Most recently, Voris was CFO of SynergEyes. Cyntellect makes laser-based live-cell manipulation systems.

• Linda Nardone, PhD, was named COO and executive VP of Encorium Group (Wayne, Pennsylvania). Nardone recently was GM for Zila Biotechnology. Encorium is a multinational contract research organization.

• Steve Starkey was promoted to COO of Healthcare Management Systems (Nashville, Tennessee). Starkey previously was VP of product development. Healthcare Management Systems makes integrated clinical and financial hospital information systems and services.

• Kerry de Vallette was named senior VP of solution sales for HealthPort (Alpharetta, Georgia). Previously, de Vallette was executive VP of sales & marketing for Accuro Healthcare Solutions. HealthPort combines technology and strategic solutions to continually improve fragmented business processes for the healthcare community.

• Blake Miles was named VP of sales ISTO Technologies (St. Louis). Prior to joining ISTO, Blake was a regional sales manager with a distributorship for Depuy Spine. ISTO is a privately held orthobiologics company.

• Patricia Williams was named senior VP, general counsel and corporate secretary of RehabCareGroup (St. Louis). William’s most recent position was VP, general counsel and corporate secretary for Thermadyne Holdings.

• John Lopiano was named division president of Sage Software Healthcare (Tampa, Florida). Most recently, Lopiano was president of Spinet Associates. Sage Software Healthcare makes integrated electronic health records, EDI applications and practice management systems.
