Keane (San Ramon, California), a $1 billion-plus global services firm that specializes in enabling transformation of its clients’ business and IT functions, yesterday reported that it has been awarded a $1 million software and services contract with Capital Health System (Trenton, New Jersey) to install clinical components of its Keane InSight product line.
As part of the implementation, Keane will install its clinical Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Pharmacy application throughout the facility to provide clinicians with immediate access to patient information using secure, browser-based technology at the point of service.
“Patient safety is a major concern for healthcare organizations today, and our Keane InSight product line provides clinicians with better access to critical patient information,” said Marv Mouchawar, executive VP, Products and Corporate Development. “By bringing complete patient information directly to the point of service, Keane InSight helps improve clinical decision making and minimizes medical errors.”
Capital Health System is a regional healthcare provider comprised of 619 beds and employs nearly 3,300 individuals while serving the residents of Mercer County, New Jersey, and Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
