Glen Kashuba has been named senior VP of Biomet (Warsaw, Indiana), as well as president of Biomet Trauma and Biomet Spine. Kashuba most recently served as worldwide president of Cordis Endovascular. Biomet, and its subsidiaries, make products used primarily by musculoskeletal medical specialists in both surgical and non-surgical therapy.

John DelliSanti has been named executive VP and chief commercial officer for Caliper Life Sciences (Hopkinton, Massachusetts). Previously, DelliSanti led the Americas commercial operations at Invitrogen. Caliper Life Sciences provides research tools for drug discovery and development and genomics and proteomics laboratories.

Marc Oczachowski has been promoted to CEO of EDAP TMS (Vaulx-en-Velin, France). Oczachowski, who was previously COO of the company, replaces Hugues de Bantel. Bantel will join the board of directors. EDAP TMS makes Ablatherm, used for high intensity focused ultrasound treatment of localized prostate cancer.

Gerard Hayden, Jr. has been named CFO for MedAvant Healthcare Solutions (Atlanta). Hayden previously was an independent consultant in Nashville, Tennessee. Hayden replaces Douglas O'Dowd, who will stay with the company to assist with the transition. MedAvant specializes in healthcare technology and transaction services.
