A news item in the March 21, 2001, issue of BioWorld Today should have stated that Cell Therapeutics Inc., of Seattle, said it would ask the FDA to delete a headline and cover note on its MedWatch web site, which reported what CTI called erroneous information on cardiac side effects and sudden deaths associated with the use of Trisenox (arsenic trioxide) injection. The MedWatch web site was updated Tuesday, deleting the headline and cover note, Cell Therapeutics said, adding that CTI's "Dear Health Care Provider" letter still appears.
