WASHINGTON – The House Energy and Commerce Committee expects to send the 21st Century Cures Act up for debate in the House as early as next week, Clay Alspach, chief majority health counsel for the committee, said during Wednesday's Develop Innovate Advance (DIA) annual meeting here.

WASHINGTON – Stakeholders from the health care, patient, academic and clinical industries gathered at the Develop Innovate and Advance (DIA) 2015 annual meeting here to discuss, among other things, ways to improve orphan drug development to ensure patients with rare diseases receive timely, consistent, and effective treatment for their conditions.
