Teleflex (Limerick, Pennsylvania) said it has acquired Semprus BioSciences (Cambridge, Massachusetts), a biomedical company and spinout from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT; Cambridge), for an up-front payment of $30 million. The acquisition includes the core Semprus Sustain technology.
