Sorrento Therapeutics Inc., of San Diego, said institutional investors and its strategic corporate partner, Yuhan Corp., of Seoul, South Korea, agreed to invest up to approximately $150 million in separate private placements in newly issued common stock priced at $5.55 per share and warrants to purchase additional common shares with an exercise price of $8.50 apiece.
