Looking to the tax reform lessons of the past to move forward, the U.S. Senate Finance Committee gazed into the rear view mirror Tuesday at the Reagan years as they picked the brains of former Sens. Bob Packwood (R-Ore.) and Bill Bradley (D-N.J.) for ideas on how to make the U.S. tax code simpler, fairer and more equitable.
