Daré Bioscience Inc., of San Diego, received the first $224,665 of an anticipated $1.9 million in grant funding from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, a division of the NIH, to help fund the development of Ovaprene, a non-hormonal intravaginal ring being studied for pregnancy prevention.
