Otonomy Inc., of San Diego, said net sales of Otiprio (ciprofloxacin) totaled $400,000 for the first quarter. In March, the company announced a number of changes to its commercial organization to increase the focus on Otiprio utilization and improve sales performance, including the hiring of a new vice president of sales. The company reported a first-quarter net loss of $27,078, about the same as its first quarter 2016 loss.
