• InVivo Therapeutics (Cambridge, Massachusetts) has named Eric Woodard, MD, chief medical officer and Robin Newman, RN, director of clinical and regulatory affairs. Woodard, who will retain his post as chief of neurosurgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, was formerly chief of the division of spinal surgery in the department of neurologic surgery at Harvard's Brigham and Women's Hospital and an assistant professor in surgery at Harvard Medical School. Newman is a founder, executive VP and chief scientific officer of MedTrials.

• Matthew Barker has been named to the new position of director of marketing at TeleHealth Services (Raleigh, North Carolina). He most recently was director of marketing at Hosted Solutions. Telehealth is a provider of integrated communications solutions for the healthcare market.
