• Steven Schaefer has been promoted to president of CSA Medical (Baltimore). Schaefer has been CFO of the company, which says it is focused on bringing cryotherapy to endoscopy, since November 2006.

• Susan Hedden was named VP of clinical trial operations at Facet Solutions (Hopkinton, Massachusetts). Hedden comes to Facet Solutions from Applied Spine, where she was GM of clinical operations. Facet Solutions makes surgical devices for the treatment of facet-related spinal disorders.

• Harry Greenspun, MD, has been named executive VP and chief medical officer of the Healthcare Industry Group of Perot Systems (Plano, Texas). Greenspun most recently was chief medical officer of Northrop Grumman Health Solutions. Perot Systems is a provider of information technology services and business solutions.
