• Michael Slater has been named senior vice president, regulatory affairs and operations at Acusphere (Watertown, Massachusetts), replacing Dennis Bucceri, who is leaving the company to accept another position. Slater, who has been senior vice president, operations, oversaw regulatory affairs at Acusphere prior to Bucceri's appointment in 2007. Acusphere is a developer of drugs using its microsphere delivery technology.
