David McDonald was named senior VP of business development of AngioDynamics (Queensbury, New York). McDonald joins AngioDynamics from Cornerstone Healthcare Advisors. AngioDynamics makes devices used by interventional radiologists, nephrologists and surgeons for the minimally invasive treatment of cancer and peripheral vascular disease.

Corinne Mundin has been named director of international market development for SyntheMed (Iselin, New Jersey). Most recently Mundin was director of international sales for Novadaq Technologies. SyntheMed is a biomaterials company engaged in the development and commercialization of anti-adhesion, drug delivery products and other surgical implants.

• Texas Instruments (Dallas) said that Stephen MacMillan, president/CEO of Stryker, has been elected to TI's board of directors, effective in September. MacMillan joined Stryker in 2003 as president/CEO; two years later he assumed the role of CEO. Texas Instruments is a semiconductor company.
