• Dana Cambra has been named VP of R&D at Align Technology (Santa Clara, California), effective June 16. Most recently, Cambra was senior VP of R&D for Pharsight. Align Technology makes Invisalign, a method for treating the misalignment of teeth.
• Miriam Paramore was named senior VP of corporate strategy for Emdeon Business Services (Nashville, Tennessee). Most recently, Paramore was a partner with Commonwealth Leverage. Emdeon Business Services is a provider of revenue-cycle management and clinical communication solutions.
• Richard Baron has informed eResearchTechnology (Philadelphia) that he will resign as executive VP/CFO effective June 17 to become CFO of Avid Radiopharmaceuticals. Steven Eisenstein, eRT's VP/controller, who has been controller of eRT for seven years, will become interim CFO and principal financial and accounting officer. eResearch Technology provides centralized ECG and eClinical technology, ePRO and other services.
• David Sankaran has been named senior VP/CFO of NightHawk Radiology Holdings (Coeur D'Alene, Idaho). Sankaran previously was senior VP/CFO of Accelrys. NightHawk Radiology Holdings provides radiology solutions to radiology groups and hospitals.
• Jeffrey Capello is resigning as CFO of PerkinElmer (Waltham, Massachusetts) effective June 6. Michael Battles, the company's VP/controller, will lead the finance function on an interim basis. PerkinElmer specializes in health sciences and photonics.
• Jay Moyes was named CFO of XDx (Brisbane, California). He previously was VP of finance/CFO at Myriad Genetics. XDx is a molecular diagnostics company focused on noninvasive gene expression tests for the monitoring of immune-mediated conditions.
• Mark Throdahl has joined Zimmer Holdings (Warsaw, Indiana) as group president, global businesses. Throdahl most recently was CEO of Consort Medical. Zimmer Holdings specializes in orthopaedic reconstructive, spinal and trauma devices, dental implants and related orthopedic surgical products.
