Alana Kuleska was named executive director of AMD3 Foundation (Pittsburgh). AMD3 Foundation is a non-profit organization that sponsors and directs education, research and family-centered care, as well as advancing the science of performance in healthcare.

• Datatrak International (Cleveland) reported a restructuring of its senior management team in several positions. Laurence Birch, currently a member of the Datatrak board of directors and a member of the board's audit committee, has been elected chairman. Birch has served on the Datatrack board for the past year and also is currently president/CEO of Neopharm. Matt Delaney, currently VP of marketing and sales, has been named interim president. The position of COO, previously held by Terry Black, has been eliminated. Black will be pursuing other opportunities and has agreed to a transition period whereby he will serve as a consultant to the company on an as-needed basis. Datatrak International is a technology and services company focused on e-clinical solutions for the clinical trials industry.

David Boitano has been promoted to senior VP and senior investment officer of Nationwide Health Properties (NHP; Newport Beach, California). Since 2002, Boitano has been an investment officer for NHP. Nationwide Health Properties is a REIT that invests in senior housing facilities.

Samuel Lee has been named chairman of Prospect Medical Holdings (Santa Ana, California), succeeding Jacob Terner, MD, who resigned as executive chairman and a member of the board. Prospect Medical Holdings manages the medical care of roughly 240,000 HMO enrollees and operates four community hospitals in southern California

• StatSure Diagnostic Systems (New York) said that effective July 1, Steve Peltzman, CEO/chairman, and D. Bruce Pattison, president/COO and director, have resigned. Peltzman and Pattison have indicated that they will enter into consulting agreements with StatSure. In addition, Richard Woodrich has resigned as a director. The board elected Moishe Bodner, currently VP of the company, as CEO/director, and Leo Ehrlich, current CFO and director, was elected president/COO, effective July 1. StatSure makes immunoassay tests for the detection of sexually transmitted and other infectious diseases.
