William Northrup III, MD, has been named VP of medical relations and education for CryoLife (Kennesaw, Georgia). Northrup is a cardiovascular surgeon and recognized as an expert in cardiac reconstruction and mitral valve repair, the company said. CryoLife is a biomaterials, medical device and tissue-processing company.

Christopher Brown has been named VP of sales of Impulse Monitoring (Columbia, Maryland). Brown previously was VP/GM of the travel staffing division of IntelliStaf. Impulse provides intraoperative neuromonitoring services to hospitals.

• MFIC (Newton, Massachusetts) said that its operating subsidiary, Microfluidics, has appointed William Kober, Xavier Leroy and Kent Chu as sales VPs. Kober will oversee North and South America; Leroy will oversee Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and Chu will oversee Asia-Pacific. Previously, Kobler was VP of sales, Leroy was managing director of sales and Chu was VP of sales at X-Rite. Microfluidics makes Microfluidizer materials processing and formulation equipment.
