• Amerinet (St. Louis) has appointed Richard John McNaughton as executive VP of sales. McNaughton was previously the VP of sales for Draeger Medical, and held sales and marketing positions at Becton Dickinson. Amerinet partners with health care providers to improve operating margins by creating efficiencies, reducing costs and identifying new revenue streams.

•BSML (Walnut Creek, California) has appointed Andrew Rudnick as CEO and chairman of the board. Rudnick replaces Julian Feneley. Rudnick also is CEO and chairman of the Sleek Medspa Group, a business owned by him and his family. Anthony Pilaro, former chairman of the board, will continue as a director of the company. BSML markets teeth whitening technology and manages BriteSmile Professional Teeth Whitening centers. Its headquarters in Walnut Creek, California will be moved to Florida.

•Emageon (Birmingham, Alabama) has named Chris Perkins as COO. Perkins previously served at Per-Se Technologies in senior executive positions, including executive VP, CFO, and COO, prior to its acquisition by McKesson earlier this year. Emageon provides information technology systems.

• Parexel (Boston) has appointed Charles Stevens as VP and general manager of health policy and strategic reimbursement services, a Washington-based unit. Previously, Stevens held senior reimbursement positions at Cephalon and Cell Therapeutics and sales positions at Genetics Institute and Abbott Laboratories. Parexel provides contract research, medical communications and consulting services.
