An MDD
A manufacturer of teeth that could possibly turn your teeth ugly, and do worse — brand-named Ugly Teeth — has recalled the item, saying that the teeth contain “an impermissible level of lead.”
Amscan (Elmsford, New York), a maker of what it calls “decorative party goods,” distributes the teeth and said it issued the recall after finding “in end user testing” that it contained too much lead, adding that it has previously tested the product and those tests indicated the level of lead was safe.
Amscan said it has advised the Product Safety Commission of the recall and is seeking discontinued sale by its distributors and a refund as it continues an investigation.
