• Donald Wood has been named VP of operations for Abaxis (Union City, California). Wood most recently served as VP of operations at Cholestech. Abaxis makes portable blood analysis systems.

• Karen Zaderej was promoted from VP of sales and marketing to COO of AxoGen (Alachua, Florida). AxoGen is a private company that makes peripheral nerve grafting and nerve regeneration technologies.

• Douglas Smith has been named CFO of Barnev (Andover, Massachusetts). Smith was formerly CFO for Axya Medical. Barnev makes the BirthTrack continuous labor monitoring solutions.

• Wayne Ramaker has been named VP of marketing and communications for Enova Medical Technologies (St. Paul, Minnesota). Ramaker will maintain his position as president of CJ Olson Market Research, an Enova affiliate based in Minneapolis. Enova is the developer of medical devices.
