• Paul Hoedeman has been named CFO of Access Genetics (Minneapolis). Hoedeman previously was CFO of Edwin Watts Golf. Access Genetics is a molecular diagnostics service and technology company.
• Irit Tenenvurtzel has joined Cadent (Carlstadt, New Jersey) as executive VP and GM of Cadent Israel, the company’s R&D and hardware production center. Most recently he was division president and corporate VP at Orbotech. Cadent makes 3-D digital solutions for the orthodontic and dental industries.
• Hannah Monds was named director of business development for Gene Express (Toledo, Ohio). Prior to joining Gene Express, Monds spent more than 10 years with AAIPharma. Gene Express provides standardized genomic data for drug and molecular diagnostic development.
• The Sorin Group (Milan, Italy) said that Fred Hrkac has been named president of the cardiac rhythm management (CRM) business unit. Since 2005, Hrkac has been VP of global sales and marketing of the Sorin Group CRM business unit.
• Chad Richards was named senior VP of sales and marketing for Transgenomic (Omaha, Nebraska). Before joining Transgenomic, Richards was national sales director of the cancer diagnostics division for Quest Diagnostics. Transgenomic provides products and services of automated high-sensitivity genetic variation and mutation analysis.
• Mark Mishler has been named executive VP and CFO of Vital Signs (Totowa, New Jersey), effective Nov. 1. Mishler is currently corporate controller of Fedders. Vital Signs make single-use medical products for the anesthesia, respiratory/critical care, interventional cardiology/radiology and sleep/ventilation markets.
