• Robert Kirby has been named president/CEO of Accellent (Wilmington, Massachusetts). Most recently, Kirby was president/COO at Handleman. Accellent makes outsourced precision manufacturing and provides engineering services to the medical device industry.

• Sunny Azadeh has been named VP of information technology and chief information officer for Align Technology (Santa Clara, California). Azadeh previously served as senior VP of information technology and CIO for Agile Software. Align’s flagship product is Invisalign, a method for treating malocclusion.

• Jerry McLaughlin was named VP of commercial operations for NuPathe (Conshohocken, Pennsylvania). McLaughlin previously was at Endo Pharmaceuticals. NuPathe makes products for the treatment of neurological and psychiatric diseases.

• Mark Mishler was named executive VP and CFO of Vital Signs (Totowa, New Jersey), effective Nov. 1. Mishler is currently corporate controller of Fedders. Vital Signs make single-use medical products for the anesthesia, respiratory/critical care, interventional cardiology/radiology and sleep/ventilation markets.
