Consumer conference coming to Chicago
New distribution strategies, point of sale and marketing initiatives, and technologies that respond to the diverse needs of consumers are the focus of the 2007 International Consumer Health on Demand Conference (www.ichdc.com), Sept. 17-19 at the Chicago Hilton.
As healthcare consumers continue to make increased demands of the industry — lower costs, greater convenience, and improved quality -their voices are being heard and acted upon by innovators throughout the market.
Brand managers and chief marketing officers in pharmaceuticals or healthcare, marketing managers, and representatives of advertising, branding, or financial companies, as well as retailers, new care intermediaries, and technology providers, will benefit from the presentations and networking opportunities. Discussions will focus on lifestyle targeting, diagnostics and product solutions, and consumer-based technology innovations.
“This conference takes into account not only the present but also the anticipated future demands of healthcare consumers,” said Skip Brickley, CEO of Transmarx. "This new generation of empowered consumers will have higher expectations and will be speaking with their pocketbooks. Our speakers and workshop organizers will focus on what works in the current environment and how to plan for the future.”
