• Tarif Awad, PhD, was named director of external scientific collaborations of VisEn Medical (Woburn, Massachusetts). Awad previously was senior manager of pharmaceutical and industrial collaborations at Affymetrix. VisEn makes fluorescent in vivo imaging.
