Magellan Biosciences makes point-of-care analyzers and automated systems for hospital-based labs and near-patient testing.

• Edith Evers was named CFO of SpineVision (San Francisco). Evers previously was senior manager for Wright Medical Technology. SpineVision is exclusively focused on bringing motion preservation and fusion devices to spine specialists around the world.
